The Film Room Collective was created to empower emerging filmmakers in the DMV area who have passion but lack resources, team, or access. We provide a collaborative space where writers, directors, producers, editors, actors, and crew members can come together to create films, share knowledge, and support each other's growth.

Our collective started from my desire to build a team and create films without needing higher education or extensive resources. In just three months, we've produced two short films, including one for the DC 48 Hour Film Project where we won the audience award for best team spirit. This proves that with collaboration, dedication, and shared vision, we can achieve greatness in our films and space.
